Hey there,
As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for driving the team’s focus on delivering well-architected, high-quality products. Your team will be empowered to ship code that is stable, scalable, and secure, with a strong emphasis on accountability and clarity around deliverables.
In this role, you will ensure alignment of priorities by consistently refining and organizing the roadmap and delivery plans in collaboration with the Product Manager. Together, you will create an ambitious, purpose-driven mission for the team, integrating the engineering perspective into product strategy and bringing a product mindset into the engineering team’s work.
As an Engineering Lead, you are accountable for the entire team’s performance and development. You’ll foster an environment of ownership by delegating tasks based on team members’ strengths and ambitions, inspiring them to achieve their best. At tb.lx, we believe in a culture of support and openness, where we celebrate shared success and commitment to high standards.
As the team’s primary representative in stakeholder meetings, you’ll communicate challenges, progress, and needs, advocating for the team and aligning goals with cross-functional partners. You’ll participate in architectural decisions, coordinate with principal engineers, and drive cross-team alignment on shared priorities.
Proactive communication and structured organization are key to this role. You’ll manage a refinement-heavy board, ensuring that tasks are prioritized effectively to maintain a well-organized workflow that keeps projects on track. You will also oversee task prioritization and resource allocation to maintain high productivity and team well-being.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll engage in regular syncs with the team to review progress, address blockers, and refine tasks, while one-on-one meetings provide a space for personal development and feedback. You will cultivate an open environment where team members feel empowered to share their ideas, achievements, and challenges. You’ll also support your team’s growth by recognizing achievements and guiding them to explore alternative solutions when facing obstacles.
